Put on your helmets and rev up the engines….the celebration of Smiles motorcycle ride is coming toMardi Gras Casino on Sunday, March 24.

The Big Bike Riders Children’s Foundation in partnership with Broward Health Foundation has been doing this amazing event to benefit Chris Evert Children’s Hospital for the past 5 years. For president Ron Catronio, “it’s all about the kids. The reason our organization exists is to be able to put a smile on a child’s face.”

This 50 mile BSO escorted ride begins at Chris Evert Children’s Hospital located at 1600 South Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, and ends at Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach. We expect more than 700 people to participate.

Festivities begin with opening ceremonies and breakfast, and continue after the ride ends at Mardi Gras Casino with 3 live bands, food trucks galore, raffle and door prizes, drill teams, a stunt show and 75 vendors selling some “not to be missed items.” As an added feature this year, zMotion has joined the fun so cyclists can participate as well. They will start their ride at Mardi Gras Casino and ride to Chris Evert Children’s Hospital and then back to Mardi Gras.

To participate, the cost is $20 per rider for cyclists and $20 per person/$35 per couple for motorcycles.
