In a historic moment for the Hispanic community, Carlos Anaya, an award-winning journalist and founder of Cafecito Espiritual, was honored with the prestigious “Messenger of Hope” Award by Holocaust Heroes Worldwide (HHW). This marks the first time the award has been bestowed upon a Latino.
Carlos Anaya received the prestigious “Messenger of Hope” Award accompanied by Mike Driquez, Deputy Consul General of Israel in Miami. The ceremony brought together dignitaries, public figures, and community leaders to pay tribute to Holocaust survivors and their resilience. Anaya, along with Deborah Apeloig, creator of Tikum Talks, was recognized for their significant contributions to raising awareness about Israel and promoting conscious content creation.
Amplifying Voices of Light and Awareness
Anaya, who reaches over 100 million viewers across Latin America through his segment “Vitamin for the Soul” for Primer Impacto on Univision, is celebrated for his dedication to personal growth and cultural activism. His work at Cafecito Espiritual focuses on mental health, spiritual intelligence, and financial well-being.
Deborah Apeloig, honored alongside Anaya, echoed these sentiments. “Our mission is to amplify voices that bring light and awareness. Through Tikum Talks, we strive to foster dialogues that transform and elevate the community,” she said.
