Fernanda Mercadé, MD has been named Medical Director of the South Broward Community Health Services, overseeing the system’s six neighborhood clinics and physicians.
Most recently, Dr. Mercadé was the Chief Medical Officer of Camillus Health Concern and former Medical Director of Camillus House in Miami.
Dr. Mercadé is a boardcertified doctor of internal medicine who specializes in geriatrics. She earned her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, in 1996. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Tornu Hospital, Buenos Aires, where she served as Chief Medical Resident from 2001 to 2002.
She completed her internal medicine residency at the New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York in 2007.
