2020 was a year for everyone to remember, and for Jessica Tabor-Launerts, it was a year of giving, dangerous challenges, and tremendous opportunity. As an Emergency Room Nurse on the front lines at one of South Florida’s busiest hospitals, you can imagine why she wanted to diversify her career going forward. Aside for her passion for helping people, Jess has always loved modifying cars for herself and her friends. You can often see Jess driving her 1000+ horsepower Twin Turbo Roush Mustang, or her 500hp modified bright red F150 around town.
Her passion is also how she met her husband, Aventura Marketing Council Board Member Benton Launerts, as they both ran a popular Facebook Group / Car Club called Stangs of South Florida. This club organizes several annual community events including the 18th Annual Patriot Run which benefits our nation’s veterans and first responders.
Fast Forward into 2021, Jess is now the co-owner and lead technician at the newly- opened “Tint Haus Customs” located in Davie (situated next to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel aka “The Guitar Hotel”). Jess has turned her passion into a real business, where she now customizes vehicles with custom vinyl wraps, stripe kits, ceramic coating and of course window tinting services. Jess still donates her time as a per-diem nurse as she maintains her passion to help people. Tint Haus Customs has been booked solid weeks in advance since officially opening in mid-April and has literally been a dream come true for Jess and her husband.
While her husband maintains a fulltime position as Senior Vice President for Reef Parking, he is able to assist Jess in structuring the business, and running the shop on weekends when she often works at the hospital. Tint Haus Customs already has already established a team of experienced and qualified technicians and are working hard daily to help protect and beautify people’s boats, cars and even airplanes.
