Kennedy Kids Foundation Walks for Suicide Prevention

Yesterday, Sunday, April 23, 2023, Kennedy Kids Foundation hosted its first annual paint walk to raise awareness for teen suicide prevention.

Former University of Miami and NFL defensive back, and President of Rosenhaus Sports, Robert Bailey, was joined by family, friends, and Kennedy Bailey’s former classmates and principal at Design & Architecture Senior High (DASH).

Kennedy’s family and friends helped paint shirts for participants who walked through the Design District and Wynwood.

Representatives from Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava’s office were in attendance.

Aventura Commissioner Rachel S. Friendland presented a proclamation proclaiming today as Kennedy Kids Foundation Day in the City of Aventura.

About Kennedy Kids Foundation

Kennedy Bailey was just 16 years old at that time of her suicide on September 15, 2022. Kennedy was a talented artist and a student at Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH).

After her passing, Kennedy Kids Foundation was created by Kennedy’s parents, Robert and Tina Bailey, and her brothers, Kareem and Kyllian, in order to raise awareness around mental health and prevent teen suicide.
