Alison admits that she speaks fluent rom-com, lives for 90’s WB dramas, and cries to Taylor Swift.
Samatha Greene Woodruff
Samatha Greene Woodruff will discuss her debut novel, The Lobotomist’s Wife. Initially, she put her MBA to use working at Viacom’s Nickolodeon for fifteen years, until leaving to become a “full-time” mom. In her newfound “free” time, she tried her hand at fiction writing at the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, where she found her true calling as a writer of historical fiction. Her debut novel became a #1 Amazon bestseller and First Reads pick. Her writing has appeared in Newsweek, Writer’s Digest, Female First, Read 650, and more. Her second novel, The Trade Off, will be released in the Fall of 2024 by Lake Union. A resident of southern Connecticut, Samantha, in her spare time, can be found in the yoga studio, at a concert, singing Taylor Swift at the top of her lungs in the car, or out for a long walk with friends.
