ORANGE BOWL PARTNERS WITH SPORTS RADIO 560 WQAM AND ESPN WEST PALM (106.3 FM) TO BROADCAST LIVE FROM COLLEGE FOOTBALL MEDIA DAYS

unnamedThe Orange Bowl is partnering with Sports Radio 560 WQAM for the third consecutive year and ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM) for the second, to broadcast the “Capital One Orange Bowl Media Tour” Programming will feature 44 hours of live coverage of college football media days from ACC, Big Ten and SEC in advance of the 2017 college football season. This year, the 84thCapital One Orange Bowl will be played on December 30 at 8 p.m.
Both stations will provide live in-depth preseason football coverage at media days in Hoover, Ala. (Southeastern Conference), Charlotte, N.C. (Atlantic Coast Conference) and Chicago (Big Ten Conference). WQAM’s programming will be inside its regular day time programs, “The Joe Rose Show” “The Big O Show” and “Hochman and Crowder,” while ESPN West Palm (106.3 FM) will vary its broadcast hours.
Programming will feature interviews with coaches, student-athletes, administrators, nationally prominent media members and conference commissioners, all discussing the upcoming college football season.
Kicking off WQAM’s coverage of the Capital One Orange Bowl Media Tour will be “The Big O Show,” live from SEC Media Days, July 10-13, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. EDT each day. Host Orlando Alzugaray will be joined by Joe Zagacki, voice of the Miami Hurricanes. The following week, Zagacki will join Zach Krantz and “The Joe Rose Show” live from 6 – 10 a.m. EDT from ACC Kickoff, July 13-14. On July 13, WQAM will have eight straight hours of media days coverage: 6 — 10 a.m. from the ACC and 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. from the SEC.
Finally, “Hochman and Crowder” will feature host Marc Hochman and Zagacki live from Big Ten Media Days, July 24-25 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. EDT.
ESPN West Palm’s (106.3 FM) “Joe and Kokell Show” featuring Joe Colella and Chris Kokell will be live from the SEC Media Days on Monday, July 10 from 10 a.m. – Noon and Tuesday, July 11 from 3 – 5 p.m. EDT. The pair will also be broadcasting from the ACC Kickoff on Thursday, July 13 from, 10 a.m. — Noon and Friday, July 14 from 4 – 6 p.m. Nolan Murphy will be live from Big Ten Media Days Monday and Tuesday, July 24-25 from 6 – 8 p.m., as part of the “Joe and Kokell Show.”
