Everywhere you turned, people were happily networking, visiting the 80 display tables and conducting business one-on-one in the beautiful Sport of Kings Room at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino during a recent joint Chamber EXPO.
The hugely successful EXPO was organized by the Aventura Marketing Council, Hallandale Beach Chamber, Dania Beach Chamber and the North Miami Beach Chamber…all good friends who work together often. Each Chamber invited their members to reserve a display table or just come for the incredible networking that they knew would occur. And it did!
“This was one of the best business events we have ever hosted here at Gulfstream Park,” said Michael Fucheck, Legal Counsel for Gulfstream Park. “It was a great opportunity to bring so many people to Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino who never realized the full scope of what this property offers!”
From security, healthcare, insurance and technology to education, public relations, financial, real estate and hospitality, the dazzling array of businesses offered something for everyone. And of course, every exhibitor had a door prize, and there were many very happy guests who walked away with weekends at hotels, dinners at restaurants, cash prizes, flowers and all sorts of wonderful goodies.
Multi-color balloon “hot spots” throughout the room encouraged guests to receive a stamp at each of the sites, which would then entitle them to enter the drawing for the evening’s Grand Prize: a gift certificate for a $600 VIP Experience at Gulfstream Park. Won by Jeremy Bailey from Meg Green & Associates, it included a morning tour of Gulfstream’s backstretch; presenting a plaque in the Winner’s Circle; race named in his honor; personal seminar with Gulfstream handicappers; $125 gift certificate for lunch at Ten Palms; and a Gulfstream Park gift bag.
Musical entertainment was provided by DJ Ran Oz from CooLAM Productions— always a special treat.
As the event drew to a close at 8 p.m., people were still coming in… a testament to the power of great networking opportunities.
