As we witnessed Hamas launching rockets and missiles on Israel, and seeking Israel’s destruction, increasing anti-Semitism and continuous threats of terrorism around the world, we are seeking inspiration from our spiritual leaders, and staying united for religious freedom and the right to worship as we please.
At sundown September 24, Rosh Hashanah will start the Ten Days of Repentance, as Jews are encouraged to seek out anyone they may have offended and request forgiveness so the New Year can begin with a clean slate. Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year, and will begin at sundown on October 3rd.
Spiritual leader Rabbi Jonathan Berkun and Cantor David Muchnick accompanied by their professional choir, will conduct the symbolic services. Rabbi Lauren Berkun and Cantor Marcos Askenazi will conduct the family services, where children abound.
