United Jewish Generations presents a Grand Klezmer Concert featuring Klezmer, and Cantorial music. The world-renowned cantor, Bentzion Miller will thrill the audience with his brilliant tenor voice, accompanied by the New York Klezmer All-Star Band. This year’s concert will feature instrumentals by Michael Winograd, Rob Curto, Frank London and Richie Barshay. Special opening performance by the Jaime Bronsztein Klezmer Band.
The performance will take place at the North Miami Beach Julius Littman Performing Arts Theatre on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2PM.

Benzion Miller is considered one of the foremost cantors internationally. From the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony, Barcelona National Symphony Orchestra, Budapest State Opera, and many more, Benzion officiates at the same pulpit that the famous Cantor Moshe Koussevitzky occupied! Clarinetist Michael Winograd has performed alongside Itzhak Perlman, The Klezmer Conservatory Band, Frank London, Socalled, Budowitz, Alicia Svigals, Vulfpeck, and many others. Rob Curto is widely regarded as the foremost ambassador of Brazilian Forró, in the United States. He toured internationally with Grammy Award winning Latin singer Lila Downs & clarinetist David Krakauer. Frank London is a Grammy-award winning trumpeter-composer and founder of the Klezmatics. He has worked with John Zorn, Karen O, Itzhak Perlman, Pink Floyd, LL Cool J, Mel Tormé, Lester Bowie, LaMonte Young, They Might Be Giants, David Byrne and Robert Wilson, Jane Siberry, Ben Folds 5 and is featured on over 400 CDs. Richie Barshay has performed alongside Hancock, Chick Corea, Esperanza Spalding, The Klezmatics, Fred Hersch, Kenny Werner, Lee Konitz, Natalie Merchant, Bobby McFerrin, and Pete Seeger among others. He can be heard on over 75 recordings including his latest release as leader, Sanctuary (2014), featuring Chick Corea.
This show is a project of United Jewish Generations, a Chabad organization run by Rabbi Menachem Smith. Their mission is to bring happiness and enjoyment to the Jewish senior citizen population.
