The Alternative Board (TAB) is offering another in its series of special presentations targeting owners of small and medium-size businesses who seek an alternative edge in today’s competitive marketplace.
TAB’s four-hour workshop, “Selling in the New Economy,” will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 15th at the Hillcrest Country Club in Hollywood (4600 Hillcrest Drive). There will be complimentary continental breakfast available beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The session, to be presented by Greta Schulz of Proactive Solutions, will feature hands-on applications for owners, sales managers and members of the sales workforce.
Rounding out the program will be a talk on the benefits of social-media marketing and how to integrate it into a business marketing program. Mande White, founder of Free Social-Media Help.com and Social Media-Coaching Cafe.com, will preside.
The seminar is one of several services offered by TAB, whose members are among South Florida’s leading business owners, as well as their second-in-command managers, says Arnold Goldman, The Alternative Board of South Broward owner and president. Other regular features TAB offers for members include monthly peer advisory think tank meetings and individual coaching appointments which features advice tailored to meet specific business needs. “What we offer is always based on real-world experience,” Goldman says. “We encourage and empower our members to achieve their business and personal vision.”
He says TAB may be particularly helpful for women who run a business.
“I believe balancing business and personal life is even more challenging for woman entrepreneurs,” Goldman says. “This is a chance for them to gain information directly from experts not otherwise readily available.” Founded in 1990 TAB has more than 3,000 participating businesses throughout the hemisphere.
Cost for the workshop is $15 payable at the door. No credit cards please, only checks or cash accepted at the door. To register email Arnold Goldman at Arnold@TAB-SouthBroward.com
