On a recent Sunday morning across the lush fairway of JW Marriott Turnberry Resort’s championship golf course, nearly 2,000 attendees including notables from the sports and music scenes gathered at this year’s Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d’Elegance to witness spectacular vintage vehicles and  the world’s fastest hypercars, Chic guests of the lavish must-attend event for every automobile enthusiast from connoisseur to the car-curious were greeted by Laurent-Perrier serving glasses of bubbly next to the champagne house’s pink 1968 Citroen DS aptly named “Bubbles,” along with gourmet bites and gelato by Dolci Peccati.

The high-profile judging panel drew world- leading automotive figures including Motorsports Hall of Fame racing legends Lyn St. James and Tommy Kendall, as well as former Miami Heat basketball player Alonzo Mourning and internationally recognized Grammy Award-winning artist, Wyclef Jean. Judge Heidi Mraz, the renowned automotive artist, exhibited her new art series, “Driven to Abstraction.” Supercar Rooms founder Elo presented his collection of rare autos along with models dressed according to the decade, while famed photographer Marc Baptiste captured the moment and DJ Irie admired. The RPM Foundation, along with Prometheus Fuels, announced Aileen Santiago as the winner of its “Design Without Limits” competition. While guests mingled, the sounds of saxophone player Jon Saxx created the atmosphere for a perfect day under the Florida sunshine.

In what has become one of the country’s leading auto shows, guests admired a collection of classic and modern vehicles including a major, exciting debut from the Texas-based Hennessey family who unveiled – for the first time in public – the new Venom F5 Revolution, a custom hypercar engineered to exceed 300 mph as the world’s most exhilarating open-air driving experience.

While the event boasted many notables, guests were most excited to learn of this year’s Best of Show winners which included the Mehran Aryafar 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series in the Modern category and 1928 Auburn 8-115 Speedster in the Classic category. Winners were announced by emcee Bill Rothermel, and Warren Henry Zinn and Erik Day.
