The Allstate Agency Hands in the Community program, which consists of grants provided by The Allstate Foundation—an independent, charitable organization—on behalf of agency owners to nonprofits, celebrates their spirt of service and commitment to the communities where agents work and live. 2014 was a milestone year, with over 2,500 grants presented on behalf of 1,700 Allstate agency owners who donated their time to local communities.
As a small business owner in North Miami Beach, Michelle Priestman Desjardins understands that a small act of service can have a large impact in the community. She is passionate about donating her time and resources to Boy Scouts Of America, Girl Scouts Of Southeast Florida, Palm Beach County Substance Abuse Coalition and Peaceful Ridge Rescue.
