Dr. Lior Gepstein addresses South Florida’s Community Leaders

Community leaders in government and business, along with members of South Florida’s Jewish Community, gathered at Turnberry Isle Resort’s Corsair restaurant last month to welcome visiting physician, Dr. Lior Gepstein, Director of Cardiology and STEM Cell Therapy at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. They came to learn about Rambam’s unique and successful treatments resulting from its advanced research and application of stem cell therapy, a field in which Rambam and its affiliated university, Technion- Israel Institute of Technology, are global leaders.

Dr. Gepstein’s informative presentation before a rapt audience offered a preview of medical innovations, not only those occurring at Rambam today, but that will be available in the near future, changing the field of medicine as we have known it until now.

These “medical miracles” will not only save countless lives, but will greatly improve the quality of life for people suffering from terminal and debilitating diseases for which cures have remained elusive. Particularly interesting were the youth-enhancing and anti-aging capabilities of stem cell therapy, along with the ability to regenerate new organs, reverse genetic diseases, and halt the progression of heart disease and neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
