FIU awards $21,000 in scholarships

The Vice Provost’s Council at the Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida International University awarded sixteen students chosen from a field of 110 applicants $21,000 in scholarships this fall.

The largest scholarship of $6,000 was awarded to Journalism major, Natalie Merola. The full tuition scholarship was given by Vice Provost Council member, Jordan Laser, Managing Director of Laser Financial Group/Northwestern Mutual.

Those who received the award were honored at a special reception surrounded by friends, family and members of the Vice Provost’s Council.
