The Island Proposal January 15, 2011
On Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:50 PM David Riggs & Michelle Wezenter of Boca Raton, Florida were engaged on an island at the Key Largo Marriott Resort Helipad in Key Largo, Florida.
Their special day began at the residence of good friends Barbel Abela & James Ciuffetelli in Wellington, Florida, where they were picked up by Jet Helicopter, flown by pilot Jorge Gomes, accompanied by Arial photographer Forest Johnson. The foursome landed at the exclusive Ocean Reef Club’s Islander Restaurant in Key Largo where they enjoyed a wonderful dinner.
Following dinner, a private concert at the Ocean Reef Club’s Cultural Center, Michael Bolton performing, and a meet & greet with the fabulous Multi Grammy Award winner.
As they were all set to board the helicopter at Mike Walsh’s Key Largo Marriott Resort, David Riggs got down on one knee on the helipad and proposed to Michelle Wezenter. Champagne glasses in hand, Barbel Abela and James Ciuffetelli witnessed this special occasion, while Jorge Gomes and Forest Johnson snapped photos.
