The 2016 Ram 1500

The 2016 Ram 1500 comes in various trims and sizes. The 1500 Rebel Crew Cab comes with a 5.7-liter V-8 Hemi and the four-door option including a very spacious backseat. Despite its massive size, Ram’s 2016 1500 Rebel Crew Cab is an impressively smooth ride loaded with many convenient features.

As you can expect from Ram, the 2016 1500 Rebel Crew Cab is one powerful vehicle, capable of towing a massive 10,650 pounds, earning it the highest towing capacity of any pickup in the lineup.

Although I test drove the 1500 Rebel Crew Cab, it’s important do note that the 1500 comes in three different body styles and engines. The first body trim is the Regular Cab, which is a two-door model; the second is the Quad Cab, with four doors but the backseat openings are smaller and, the last, Crew Cab, is a full-fledged four-door pickup.

For the engine, you can select from either a 3.6 liter V-6 gas engine, which pumps out 305 horsepower; a 3.0 liter turbodiesel V-6, which has the best fuel economy of the three and produces a less impressive 240 horse power and lowers towing capacity by about 1,400 pounds, and a 5.7 liter V-8 Hemi. The latter, is present on the Ram I test drove and is just as powerful as it sounds. The V-8 HEMI can reach 60 mph from 0 at 6.7 seconds. The HEMI comes with 395 horses and 407 pound-feet of torque.

Its power is also conveyed by the 1500s bold and massive, chiseled exterior which lets you know the 1500 can handle everything you throw at it — whether that be a trip through the city or a 10,650-pound load. The 1500’s interior is just as big, bold and beautiful as its exterior. Inside the 1500 Crew Cab, you will find various compartments and clever storage units, such as cubbies and door pockets, throughout the cabin. The backseat can comfortably fit three adults with enough leg and headroom, while the front seats provide comfortable support.

Ram’s 2016 1500 also shines with its newly upgraded control panel which features a digital display and large, well-placed control knobs. Additionally, the console features a phone and tablet mount — a very clever and handy. Other features include: remote keyless entry, Uconnect 5.0, Bluetooth, heated front seats and steering wheel, Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System, USB and Aux cord ports, six-speaker audio and fold-flat floor storage.

If you need a heavy-duty pickup with incredible towing capacity, look no further than the 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab. Not only is the pickup powerful, but it is also a sharp, bold looking ride — its strength is conveyed through the exterior styling. Additionally, the Crew Cab provides you with enough room for storage and five adults, making it more than just a utility vehicle. When considering a pickup and need comfort, style and power, Ram’s 2016 1500 Rebel Crew cab should be on the top of your list.

The MSRP of the 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel Crew cab is $43,270.
