For serious food lovers, it is said that the Peruvian cuisine is one of the best in the world. L’Wren Scott once said, “Peruvian food is so simple yet amazingly flavored with their traditional spices,” and that is what 1111 Peruvian Bistro’s new lunch menu is here to prove.
Born in the heart of Brickell, the neighborhood bistro is a representation of international Peruvian fusion. The lunch menu now is available noon to 3 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
“Being that we are in a such a diverse neighborhood we thought it would be a great idea to finally release a lunch menu with many different options where anyone from nearby offices and businesses can come enjoy authentic Peruvian food at affordable prices,” said Luis Perez, general manager of 1111 Peruvian Bistro.
For starters, guests can enjoy the ever-popular bao buns, with your choice of pork or fish, anticuchos, fried calamari, and a Peruvian favorite, the Jalea Limeña that contains a mixture of fried seafood. A variety of causitas, ceviches, and tiraditos are all available on the menu as well and are all native Peruvian dishes.
After enjoying the starters, guests can explore all of the options available as entrees. From salads and sandwiches to Nikkei Makis (sushi rolls) and Peruvian Inspirations, the lunch menu comes with a variety of dishes all at affordable prices.
If you’re hungry and looking for a true Peruvian dish the Lomo Saltado 1111 comes highly recommended. The dish is made with stir-fried beef tenderloin, red onions, cherry tomatoes, fried Peruvian yellow potatoes, topped with sunny side up eggs and served with arroz con choclo. With a dish like that you’ll only have room left for an after lunch nap.
“We recommend ordering different plates from the appetizer and entree selections with some side dishes in the center of the table to create a flavorful sharing dining experience,” Perez continued.
The neighborhood bistro features both an indoor dining area and an outdoor terrace with table seating and a comfortable lounge. The dining room offers a view of the open kitchen, where highly trained, professional cooks precisely execute our creations. The casual décor and modern music create a very comfortable atmosphere.
The bar is part of the dining room, inviting you to enjoy wines by the glass or a cold glass of beer before, sake and house cocktails before sitting down to a good meal. The lounge in the terrace is also an excellent place to relax and enjoy the music while savoring some of their draft beers or selected wines.
The bistro is located at 1111 SW First Ave. and is open Monday through Thursday, noon-3 p.m. and 6-10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, noon-3 p.m. and 6-11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information visit www.1111peruvianbistro.com or call 786-615-9633.
