2022 Subaru Ascent has lots of space and luxury

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The 2022 Subaru Ascent is now bigger than ever, including more space in the cabin, which has up to eight seats. It also can tow 5,000 pounds, which will handle most needs.

The 2022 Subaru Ascent’s starting price is more than $32,000. It gets 27 miles per gallon on the highway and 21 miles per gallon in the city. That’s on a standard direct-injection turbocharged Subaru boxer engine, which is powerful.

The 2022 Subaru Ascent features standard symmetrical all-wheel drive and nearly nine inches of ground clearance, a combination that many competitors can’t match.

The balanced design of symmetrical all-wheel drive is engineered to give you uniform stability and delivers an optimal distribution of performance for great traction in virtually any weather or road condition. For my money, it delivers better handling, improved efficiency, and a quicker response to road conditions than optional systems.

Subaru’s are not known for reliability and safety, but the Ascent gives you lots of choices including second-row bench seat or captain’s chairs. There is a power tilt/sliding panoramic glass moonroof that is available. With up to 153.5 cubic feet of passenger volume, high quality soft-touch materials, extra-wide rear door openings and plenty of cargo space, there is room for lots of stuff including all of the sports gear your kids and their friends can lug around.

Great safety features like the standard eyesight driver assist technology give you an extra set of eyes on the road and the confidence that your family is safe and protected.

Built in the U.S., Subaru is known for durability as much as anything else. In fact, 96 percent of Subaru vehicles sold in the past 10 years still on the road today. That legendary reliability is one reason why Kelley Blue Book awarded Ascent with the lowest five-year cost to own in its class for 2021 and named Subaru as their “Most Trusted Brand” for seven years running.

For me the 2022 Subaru Ascent is a great car that serves all your family needs with style.

  1. You have a contradiction in your article . You state are Subaru’s are not known for reliability and safety. Then this is the last paragraph . Built in the U.S., Subaru is known for durability as much as anything else. In fact, 96 percent of Subaru vehicles sold in the past 10 years still on the road today. That legendary reliability is one reason why Kelley Blue Book awarded Ascent with the lowest five-year cost to own in its class for 2021. Thought you should know
