Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Starting at just over $60,000, the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD LT looks rugged out of the box. I like the whole look of it.
It’s got deep tinted windows, which in addition to giving it a strong appearance, provide extra protection from sun and glare. Now that is something that is practical and very attractive.
I like the body color handles, which make it look modern. But Chevrolet didn’t skimp on the chrome — both the front and rear bumpers come with it.
The side bed step is integrated on the forward portion of the outer bed on the driver and passenger side to provide ease of access to the forward portion of the bed. It comes with texturing, which helps to secure your footing.
The texturing also is on the corner steps of the rear bumper, which are located at each end. Both make it easier to get into and out of the pickup bed.
The tailgate has EZ lift assist, power lock and release, with lighting around the hitch. The cargo area lamps light the bed, making it easier to see what you are hauling when it gets darker.
The dual halogen projector lamps help provide even light distribution for improved visibility.
And the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD LT has integrated daytime running lamps, so you can see it coming from a mile away.
Under the hood, the 6.6-liter V8 gas 401 horsepower engine delivers a combined average MPG of 14.
On the inside of the cabin, Chevrolet wanted a big screen, so you get a 12.3-inch diagonal color driver information center. From here you get some nice touches. In addition to warning messages and vehicle information, there is driver personalization. Chevrolet replaced the traditional analog gauges with full reconfigurable high-definition cluster layout with new graphics. The high-definition display is crisp and clear
The 13.4-inch diagonal Chevrolet infotainment is a premium system with Google built-in and includes multi-touch display, with Bluetooth streaming audio for music on select phones.
I like the layout of the cabin and there is plenty of room for everyone to sit and get comfortable. The four-way manual front passenger seat can be positioned to your liking, either forward or back and up and down. Everything you need is easy to reach and adjust with ease.
In terms of safety, the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD LT took care of everything with lots of features that will make you feel confident on the road. It provides pedestrian alerts that can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhanced driver’s hard braking.
There also is an HD rear vision camera, which offers high-resolution digital image of the area directly behind the truck while in reverse. The tech also can help you park and avoid other vehicles and objects.
Overall, the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD LT is a solid truck which is going to get you and your cargo where it needs to go feeling great.
