2026 Infiniti QX60’s refresh is refreshing

There is a certain kind of Miami family that does not need the loudest SUV in the school pickup line.
They need one that gets the kids to Ransom Everglades, groceries home from Publix on Bird Road, and everybody down to Islamorada for the weekend without a single complaint from the third row. That family, I would argue, is exactly who Infiniti had in mind when it refreshed the QX60 for 2026.
The new addition comes in above the base Luxe and below the top-shelf Autograph, sharpening what was already working. Gloss-black exterior trim, a more assertive front fascia, 20-inch black wheels, and a moody Dusk Blue interior give the cabin a richer feel than the outgoing model.
Under the hood, it is the same 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder that arrived last year, good for 268 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic. It won’t win any drag races against the Palmetto merge lane, but if you are driving a three-row family SUV in South Florida, you are not chasing 0-to-60 times. You are chasing quiet, comfortable and efficient and on those counts the QX60 delivers.
Where Infiniti clearly spent its money this year is technology. Google Built-In now comes standard, meaning Google Maps, Assistant, and Play are baked directly into the system rather than bolted on through your phone. Wireless Android Auto finally joins wireless Apple CarPlay, closing a gap that has bugged many drivers. A new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster pairs with the central touchscreen, and Infiniti swapped its old Bose audio setup for a Klipsch system, a genuine upgrade if you are the type who cranks Pitbull on the drive to Grove Isle.
The interior remains the QX60’s strongest argument. Leather seating, a panoramic moonroof, tri-zone climate control, and – on the Autograph trim – quilted leather and massaging front seats that make drives feel shorter no matter how far you are driving. Seven-passenger seating is standard across most trims.
Pricing starts at $51,000, which undercuts most of its German and Japanese luxury three-row rivals by a meaningful margin, even as the cabin materials punch above that price point. Towing capacity is up to 6,000 pounds, and fuel economy is 22 miles per gallon in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
Still, for the family cross-shopping this segment in Miami, the QX60 hits the spot and then some. Give it a spin and tell me what you think.
