The Woody Foundation is proud to announce dates for its third edition of Woodystock Benefit Festival. The live music, art and food festival is set for Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 2 – 10:00 p.m. on Key Biscayne’s Historic Virginia Key Beach. All are invited to join The Expendables, Cris Cab, Maxi Priest, Bachaco and Future Prezidents to enjoy a day on the beach and help raise funds for those with paralysis at The Woody Foundation’s Benefit Festival.
“We’ve improved every piece of the Festival; the stage, sound, lighting, location, lineup, food, art and we’ve moved the event to December for cooler temperatures, said James Woody Beckham. “Woodystock represents the coasty South Florida lifestyle and we want everyone to gather, have a lot of fun and let’s help those with paralysis. Come one, come all – we’ll have a lot of good food, cold drinks and good music; we’re really excited to share this event with everyone,” Beckham added.
Woodystock is a mix of surf sounds and good vibes that tell the story of peace, fellowship and giving. The Expendables, a reggae rock band from Santa Cruz, California will close #Woodystock15 with their signature West Coast surf reggae rock vibe. Fresh off his tour with Pharrell Williams, Miami native, Cris Cab will debut new music and look for massive cameos from label mates and famous friends. Reggae legend, Maxi Priest will perform his hits, “Close to You”, “Wild World”, “That Girl” and listen for his popular renditions of Guns N’ Roses, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley classics. Miami-based via Venezuela, Jamaica and Puerto Rico, Bachaca will set the mood with Latin-infused reggae jams.

About The Woody Foundation
The Woody Foundation, Inc. is a not for profit organization formed to raise funds for the recovery of people with paralysis. The namesake of the foundation, James “Woody” Beckham suffered his spinal cord injury making a rugby tackle in January 2011. Since then, Woody, his family and friends have bonded together to raise funds for local charities, which help others with paralysis. The Woody Foundation also distributes Woody Packs at no cost to the user – the Woody Pack is a backpack loaded with assistive devices to help those with limited hand functioning.
