Candid Miami Studio’s opening on Monday, June 28 offers Miami residents one of the most cost effective solutions to improving smiles on the market.
The Miami Studio, at 2125 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 400B, is easily accessible and staffed for in-office visits. But the great thing about Candid is that customers can complete the entire teeth assessment process at home, which is particularly important in the age of COVID-19.

“Miami has always been a top Candid priority,” says Candid President Cathrin Bowtell. “We had to close our previous Studio here during the pandemic in 2020, so we are thrilled to re-open Miami with our new Edgewater location.”
It’s no surprise that Candid is on the cutting edge of the industry: The New York City-based company is a leading clear aligner provider and the first orthodontist-directed telehealth company. Its mission is to provide safe, accessible, affordable, and quality oral healthcare in half the time of braces. Remember those things – with the rubber bands and how it cut into your lips and cheeks.
To make things even easier, it’s got an app for mobile phone use that is rated the No. 1 dental app in the Apple App Store, with over 1,200 reviews. Candid has also completed over 1 million telehealth visits to-date since its launch in 2017. In fact, the entire clear aligner system is geared toward telehealth-first care.
It is also a signal that the company is continuing its expansion. Right now the company, which does not franchise, has 29 locations across the country with more to come.
“This opening [in Miami] is part of four openings this week (Houston, Dallas and St. Petersburg) and our expansion pace is really just a reflection of the demand our customers have expressed to start their Candid journeys in one of our locations,” Bowtell says. “Our core mission is to broaden access to high quality orthodontic care, and there is no more exciting way to do that than to expand our world-class Studio team into new markets.”
The company’s model breaks through the noise competitors produce by focusing on three core principles: accessibility, affordability and clinical superiority.
Affordability is key because traditional braces and other clear aligner services can cost up to $10,000, with a lot of the cost coming from in-office visits. At Candid, you pay $2,400, with installment payment plans as low as $79 per month. Candid patients can also choose to add Phillips Zoom professional teeth whitening solution to their treatment plan for a total of $300, and a final clear retainer to ensure the patient’s teeth maintain their new position for just $99.
This is how it works: The customer takes impressions of their teeth at home with a starter kit, or they can visit the Miami Studio. The clear aligners will be delivered with everything need for the treatment. Lastly, the orthodontist tracks your progress with scans you take with your phone. It sounds pretty easy, right?
Candid also uses only orthodontists because they are trained in the diagnosis, prevention and correction of irregular alignments of the teeth and jaws. Their basic training is also longer than a typical dentist, so customers get the advantage of lots of experience when they enroll. Customers can book a complimentary appointment at www.Candidco.com.
