The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) honored Aida Levitan, Ph.D. with the Mentorship – Making a Difference Award at its annual Hispanic Women’s Society Network (HWSN) awards luncheon on Friday, December 5, at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. HWSN is a group within SFLHCC focused on empowering, supporting, and connecting Hispanic women in business and leadership. The luncheon celebrates the strength, leadership, and achievements of women in the community.
“Aida’s mentorship strengthened my confidence and helped guide my career path,” said Lily Lopez, SFLHCC. “Her leadership and generosity continue to inspire me every day.”

She served as chairman of the board from 2017 to 2021. Levitan founded the Coalition of Hispanic American Women and has mentored women for decades.
