Alhambra Orchestra concert to feature music of Spain, Hispanic composers

The Alhambra Orchestra will perform exciting classical favorites by Hispanic composers or inspired by the music of Spain, featuring Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with guitar soloist Koh Kazama, in a free concert on Saturday, Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m., at Miami-Dade County Auditorium.

Saluting Hispanic Heritage Month, the Alhambra Orchestra presents a lively lineup of colorful symphonic pieces by Hispanic composers or inspired by Spanish culture. Conductor Daniel Andai leads the orchestra’s performance of popular favorites Malagueña, Recuerdos de la Alhambra, Habanera, Toreador March, Capriccio Espagnol, and the lovely Concierto de Aranjuez with guitar soloist Koh Kazama, a faculty member at New World School of the Arts. Bring your friends and family to this memorable event.

The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, dedicated to promoting live classical performances and music education. This free event is co-presented with Miami-Dade County Auditorium as a service to our community.

Miami-Dade County Auditorium is located at 2901 W. Flagler St.. Admission is free but tickets are required.
