Alhambra Orchestra to showcase young talent in concert, Jan. 22

The Alhambra Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Andai, announces its presentation of the amazing teenaged South Florida musicians who prevailed in the orchestra’s annual concerto competition for rising classical stars.

The concert is scheduled for Jan. 22, 2023, 7:30 p.m., at FIU’s Wertheim Performing Arts Center, 10910 SW 17 St. Miami.

Violinist Isabela Diaz and cellist Javier Hernandez are students at New World School of the Arts in Miami, while violinists Raveena Cherry and Mia Hakkarainen are enrolled at Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach.

Bring your friends and family to this memorable and inspirational event featuring the music of Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Bruch, Brahms and Sibelius.

The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, dedicated to promoting live classical performances and music education.
