Alper JCC Miami invites families and community members to come together for a Community Hanukkah Celebration on Tuesday, December 16 at 5:00 PM at Alper JCC, Building 3. The festive gathering will bring people of all ages together to celebrate the spirit and traditions of Hanukkah during the holiday’s third night.
The event, themed “Share the Light,” invites attendees to bring their own hanukkiah and candles to participate in a communal candle-lighting ceremony, designed to unite the community through the warmth and traditions of the holiday. There will also be Hanukkah-themed activity stations and traditional foods, including latkes and donuts, for guests to enjoy.
“This event reflects what the Alper JCC stands for—community, culture and shared experiences,” said Irene Tzanani, CEO of Alper JCC Miami. “We’re excited to open our doors to families from across South Miami-Dade and create a meaningful celebration that everyone can enjoy.”
The event is free and open to the community, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance at alperjcc.org/Hanukkah.
