Amigos For Kids honors victims of child abuseFor the past 30 years, Amigos For Kids has been raising awareness in the community on the issue of Child Abuse and Neglect. On Wednesday, Apr. 13, the organization hosted the “There’s No Excuse for Child Abuse!” Walk and Vigil, at José Martî Park, 362 SW Fourth St. in Miami, in remembrance of those who have fallen victim of child abuse. Children from several Miami-Dade County Public Schools worked on banners about Child Abuse Prevention. Many of the children were present at the vigil and walked with their banners.
