The Adrienne Arsht Center began its long-awaited Quinceañera 15th anniversary season on Tuesday, Oct. 5, with the first Live on the Plaza concert of the season, starring three-time Latin Grammy-nominated jazz artists Negroni’s Trio.

The night also included a special birthday proclamation by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and the unveiling of a spectacular new indoor wall mural by local artists Chalk & Brush.

Nearly 200 guests celebrated the momentous occasion under the stars on the center’s Thomson Plaza for the Arts, and were treated to complimentary birthday cake and gifts including merchandise from the Arsht Center and TD Bank, the official Live on the Plaza series sponsor.

As part of its year-long celebration, the Arsht Center is offering $15 tickets to a variety of shows in its 15th anniversary season. A limited number of tickets will be available for thrilling theater, captivating and diverse concerts, moving dance, the world’s leading artists and much more.

Theatergoers also can expect more birthday surprises and special moments throughout the Arsht Center’s 15th anniversary season, including the world premiere of jazz legend Chucho Valdes’ The Creation on Nov. 5 and the return of Broadway with Hairspray on Dec. 28.
