The Bayfront Park Management Trust continues its partnership with Baptist Health South Florida, the Monday and Wednesday sponsor of Bayfront Park’s ongoing free yoga classes.

“It’s very exciting to have Baptist Health South Florida’s continued support. The partnership contributes to a healthier and happier downtown community,” said Miami Commissioner Frank Carollo, Bayfront Park Management Trust chair.

Baptist Health South Florida is the largest healthcare organization in the region, with seven hospitals nearly 50 outpatient and urgent care facilities, Baptist Health Medical Group, Baptist Health Quality Network and internationally renowned centers of excellence.

The Bayfront Park Management Trust began free yoga classes in 2005. Since its inception, the classes and practice have grown exponentially, surpassing 154,000 participants. The yoga classes, conducted outdoors by the bay, offer a unique atmosphere for participants to exercise and connect, creating a community within the Downtown Miami district.

These classes have been featured by Fox Sports Network, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Delta Sky Magazine, Celebrated Living (in-flight magazine for American Airlines) and Vues d’Ailleurs (in-flight magazine for French airline Corsairfly).

The free yoga sessions are at the Tina Hills Pavilion every Monday and Wednesday, 6-7:15 p.m., and Saturday, 9-10:15 a.m. Monday and Wednesday classes are brought to you by Baptist Health South Florida and Saturday classes are brought to you by TeamFootWorks.
