Coldwell Banker Realty’s Ana Teresa Rodriguez, who is based out of the Coral Gables office and leads a team called ATR Luxury Homes, has recently listed and closed a prestigious waterfront, gated home in Miami’s exclusive Bay Point.
The approximately 8,207-square-foot home is located at 4505 Sabal Palm Rd. on approximately a half-acre of bayfront property. The all-cash deal closed on Feb. 28 for $38 million. The previously highest priced sale in Bay Point was in 2021 for less than half that closing price, at $18 million. At a sales price of $4,691.17 per square foot, this is the second highest sale per square foot in Miami (after Adrian Arsht home) and the fourth highest per square foot in Miami-Dade in the past 12 months.
Sabal Palm Road is a hidden gem — a gated home inside a high-security gated community.
The home, including the roof, is constructed from concrete with numerous windows to let in Florida’s natural sunlight and catch those multi-million-dollar views from most rooms. One bedroom that could serve as the master for instance, features two full walls of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Biscayne Bay. The living room also has floor-to-ceiling glass to showcase its magnificent views.
Other upgrades include an infinity pool, multiple outdoor seating areas, a boat dock large enough for multiple water toys, 10-foot ceilings, a showpiece wine storage area large enough for hundreds of bottles, and marble floors.
Rodriguez called the property Casa Bahia.
“It features the best materials in every room and is elegant from the driveway to the floor-to-ceiling glass front door to the home’s interior. It is truly a one-of-a-kind property.”
Ana Teresa Rodriguez, a certified global luxury property agent, specializes in the Bay Point region. She envisions Bay Point as the best waterfront gated community and her mission is to develop brand new spec homes in the community as well as upgrade the existing homes to satisfy the new demand of high-end home buyers looking for this type of lifestyle. Even Bay Point residents are stopping Rodriguez to compliment her on the construction and remodeling work she is doing to raise the standard, value and price point for the community.
The home closed is one of four properties Rodriguez has listed in Bay Point. Rodriguez said Coldwell Banker Realty is going to be the company that brought the prices up in Bay Point, just as it has previously accomplished in nearby Indian Creek.
Bay Point was established in the 1940s and offers a prime location less than a mile from the design district, less than five miles from Downtown Miami and about eight miles from the Miami International Airport. The land that is currently considered Bay Point also has a rich history, going back to Charles Deering.
This affluent enclave has the main road Sabal Palm Drive running through it. Some consider it one of the most expensive streets to live on in the entire United States. The exclusive location, proximity to key areas like Downtown and Miami Beach, and high security are what makes living here so attractive to celebrities, athletes and entertainers.
