The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present an evening of family fun and whimsical holiday festivities during Cirque Dreams Celebration on Dec. 31, at 5 p.m.; Jan. 1, at 3 and 7:30 p.m., and Jan. 2, at 11 a.m., in the Ziff Ballet Opera House.
Tickets for Cirque Dreams Celebration start at $35 and may be purchased now online at arshtcenter.org, or at the Adrienne Arsht Center box office by calling 305-949-6722.
As the longest-running cirque holiday event, Cirque Dreams Celebration is an annual family-friendly evening that entertains through a Broadway-style production around contemporary circus arts. As lights dim and music swells, audiences will have visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads as a fantastic cast of holiday storybook characters comes to life onstage. Cirque Dreams Celebration will be dazzling audiences in Miami during its six-week, 60-city U.S. tour this holiday season.
Imaginative and fun for children, seniors and everyone in between, Cirque Dreams Celebration features a world-renowned cast of performers accompanied by an ensemble of aerial circus acts, sleight-of-hand jugglers, fun-loving skippers, breath-catching acrobatics and much more.
An original score includes new twists on seasonal favorites such as Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and Carol of the Bells. Singers, dancers, penguins, toy soldiers and reindeer invoke the dreams behind a child’s eyes on the most magical of nights. Amid a backdrop of new sets, scenery and storylines, this family-friendly production is sure to put guests in the holiday spirit!
