City National Bank employees volunteered on Saturday, Sept. 7, to help sort Hurricane Dorian relief supplies headed to the Bahamas.
The charitable function was organized in partnership with United Way and volunteermiami.org. City National Bank provided lunch for all attending volunteers.
“Hurricane Dorian left behind a path of destruction in the Bahamas and City National Bank is standing with our neighbors and friends who are in desperate need of help,” said City National Bank president and CEO Jorge Gonzalez. “Bahamian culture has played an important role in Florida’s history, and it is our duty as a community bank to aid in the relief efforts. Gathering essential items that will assist the Bahamian people in rebuilding their communities is the first step on the road to recovery.”
As part of their continued effort to support residents in the Bahamas, City National Bank’s 30 banking centers across the state are serving as collection sites for much needed supplies.
