The City of Miami is set to host the Venture Miami Talent Summit and Hiring Fair, a two-day event series connecting job seekers with top employers in the technology industry. The events will take place on Apr. 25 and 26 at Miami-Dade College Wolfson Campus Idea Center and Kyriakides Plaza.
The Venture Miami Talent Summit, taking place on Apr. 25 from noon to 5 p.m., will provide job seekers with 1-to-1 support, valuable networking opportunities, hands-on workshops, and professional headshots, all facilitated by industry experts from LinkedIn, Init, CodePath, and ELT.
Workshops will cover topics such as resume and cover letter optimization, technical skill-building, networking, industry research, and interview preparation. The first 50 attendees will receive a six-month subscription to LinkedIn Premium for free to further aid their job search.
The Venture Miami Tech Hiring Fair will take place on Apr. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus Kyriakides Plaza. Approximately 60 companies will be in attendance with over 4,000 open roles, hiring local talent.
