Codina Partners announces new executive VP of development
Luis Castellon

Codina Partners, a real estate development, investment, and property management firm, recently announced the promotion of Luis Castellon to executive vice president of development.

Castellon, who previously served as vice president of residential development, has played a crucial role in Codina Partners’ residential project management and construction administration, contributing to the growth and success of the firm. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design and land-use entitlement to project management, construction administration, and completion.

In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of development operations across every sector of Codina Partners’ expanding portfolio, which currently includes transformational projects like Downtown Doral, Regency Parc, and the former Sears site at Westland Mall.

“At Codina Partners, our goal is to leave every community better than we found it, and we are confident Luis will continue to deliver on this promise and produce meaningful, high-quality work in his new role,” said Ana-Marie Codina, CEO of Codina Partners. “Luis’ deep understanding of the complex development process, coupled with his ability to manage diverse teams and deliver successful outcomes for visionary projects, make him a key figure in how we accomplish our mission.”

Before joining Codina Partners, Castellon had a successful tenure of over 10 years with Related Group of Florida, where he was responsible for a diverse range of projects, from high-rise condominiums to workforce housing and market-rate developments. Notable projects under his leadership include The Plaza on Brickell and The Loft 2 in Downtown Miami, both of which have contributed to shaping the landscape of the Miami real estate market.
