Miami-Dade County Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis will host a Property Taxes Outreach Event on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the City of West Miami Recreation Center (1700 SW 62nd Ave, Miami, FL 33155) with Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser Tomas Regalado, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Juan Fernández-Barquín and Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez.

“Property taxes touch every family, yet the system can often feel confusing and overwhelming,” said Commissioner Milian Orbis. “I want to make sure our residents are taking full advantage of every tool available — from property exemptions and appealing property values, to understanding portability and tax deferrals for seniors. By working together with our county partners, we can ensure families are informed, supported, and empowered.”

The program will feature presentations from the Property Appraiser, Clerk and Tax Collector’s office covering exemptions, the Value Adjustment Board, and other important topics. The evening will conclude with an open Q&A session, giving residents the opportunity to ask questions about property tax benefits, exemptions, and more.

The outreach event is free and open to the public. Residents may RSVP by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by using the link provided here. For questions or additional information, please contact Commissioner Milian Orbis’ District Office at (305) 267-6377 or email district6@miamidade.gov.
