Commissioner Regalado to host Coconut Grove Kids Business Fair

The Coconut Grove Kid’s Marketplace is deigned to motivate young entrepreneurs, ages 8-16, to showcase their business and display their talents by recognize their ideas and turn them into action.

Young entrepreneurs start their business, calculate costs, determine selling price, create a logo and apply marketing tools to share the business with potential customers.

This one-day marketplace is a dynamic way for participants to learn business and social skills while having fun. It is an enriching experience and an opportunity for kids to earn their own money on a hands-on business experience.

The Coconut Grove Kid’s Marketplace will take place on Saturday, Apr. 1, from 1 to 4 p.m., at 2820 McFarlane Rd.

Rent for stand is $35 and space is limited.
