A magic carpet ride of brilliant performers, stunning costumes, creative set design and special effects and beautiful music, Disney’s Aladdin is funny, entertaining and a joy to experience.
The plot, lyrics, humor and set are intended to appeal to young audiences, (ages six and up are recommended) while, at the same time, engaging and delighting adults.
The musical retains the family-friendly plot of the Disney film, sweeping audiences into an exotic world of daring adventure, classic comedy and timeless romance. We couldn’t help but sing along to our favorite songs from the Academy Award-winning soundtrack and. enjoyed the additional songs written specifically for the stage.
Genie, played by Marcus M. Martin, steals the show with perfectly-timed jokes, antics, singing and energetic dancing. Martin’s performance was extraordinary.
The show’s special effects keeps the audience clapping throughout and the non-stop action features several “How did they do that?!” surprises.
