Camillus House today announced the promotion of Donna McGinnis to vice president of finance. In her new role, Ms. McGinnis will oversee all the organization’s finances including the day-to-day responsibilities of the finance department, financial reporting and operations, financial information systems, budgeting and financial analysis.
With over 30 years of experience in the public sector, manufacturing, and banking, Ms. McGinnis joined Camillus House in July 2015 as director of finance. Prior to joining Camillus, she was the accounting controller at Concurrent Manufacturing Solutions based in South Florida. She also served as audit director for Miami-Dade County Public Schools and accounting manager for Aon Consulting, Inc.
“Donna has been instrumental in strengthening our financial management,” says Bob Dickinson, Acting CEO. “Her extensive experience in multiple business sectors will be critical in supporting the next phase of growth and development at Camillus House.”
Ms. McGinnis, who is a CPA, earned her bachelor’s in business administration from West Virginia University and her MBA from Baylor University. Her community involvement has contributed to the MD Anderson Cancer Center Children’s Art Project, Chapman Partnership, and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami.
