Restaurants in Downtown Coral Gables now are hosting Hard Hat Happy Hours every Wednesday. This initiative by the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables (BID) aims to keep the community engaged and businesses active during the Streetscape construction.
“The Hard Hat Happy Hours series is about supporting our local restaurants while we are Building Beautiful,” said Taciana Amador, executive director of the Coral Gables BID. “With more than a dozen restaurants participating in Downtown Coral Gables, there are plenty of options for bites, drinks and good times.
“Throughout the progression of the Streetscape Project, the BID will continue to market and promote businesses within the district through a series of initiatives,” Amador explained.
Hard Hat Happy Hours participating restaurants include: Bangkok Bangkok, Bellmont Spanish Restaurant, Benihana, BrickTop’s,
California Pizza Kitchen, Cibo Wine Bar, Divino Ceviche, Fritz & Franz Bierhaus, Open Stage Club, Talavera, The Local and Vixi Gelateria.
The Business Improvement District of Coral Gables was incorporated in July 1997 and encompasses 19 blocks of Downtown Coral Gables including Miracle Mile. As an advocate for downtown issues, property owners and businesses, the BID empowers district members through a single-unified voice, speaking collectively to governmental and civic organizations and the general public in order to bring prosperity to the District.
