Dr.Goodprice, a ground-breaking concept in healthcare, is has announced the grand opening of its first healthcare facility in the vibrant neighborhood of Little Havana on Nov. 2. The one-stop-shop healthcare clinic, located at 441 SW 12 Ave., redefines healthcare accessibility and excellence in the Miami community.

Dr.Goodprice is all about transparency in healthcare and provides access to affordable healthcare for all by listing all its rates upfront for clients including medical examinations, labs and even prescription medicine. They provide a complete solution for your healthcare needs and make sure it is all available in one facility and at one visit.

The concept was created by Yessica Gonzalez, a veteran healthcare professional who witnessed first-hand a similar concept in her home country of Mexico before moving to the United States.

“In the US, I have experienced that even if you have insurance, you sometimes have to wait months to be seen by a doctor or specialist. Meanwhile, in my home country there are pay-as-you-go clinics that make immediate care available regardless of your income or status, and even if you have insurance or not,” said CEO and founder Gonzalez.

Dr.Goodprice works with highly qualified medical professionals who are on-site and available immediately within their facilities. Medical examinations are conducted by licensed Advance Registered Nurse Practitioners in Florida, who are authorized to diagnose and prescribe medications.

All products and services are paid for directly by the customer — they do not accept medical insurance and that when put into practice actually reduces your overhead costs and in-turn the cost to clients.

The facilities are modest, clean and welcoming and conveniently in locations where rents are affordable so that they can cater to the local communities who most need the services. And all services are walk-in only; they do not accept an appointment and so far, the wait to receive medical services ranges from 0 to 40 minutes.

Prices are clearly listed are in many cases completely affordable to the average person living in Miami. All labs are done in-house and the in-house pharmacy carries over 500 only-generic prescription medications, both cost-reducing alternatives to the standard healthcare system in the U.S.

The Miami facility is equipped with all the necessary medical technology, a team of experienced and caring healthcare professionals, and a range of medical services that encompass primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, women’s health, and more. Dr.Goodprice aims to address the diverse healthcare needs of the Miami community under one roof.

Sample list of medical services/labs provided include:
Medical consultations, $25;
Pap smear, $95;
School physical exam, $30;
Annual physical examm $35, and
Urine Test, $10.

“When all is said is done, our mission is to provide quality healthcare to those most in need, and we do not ask for SSN to provide medical care because we are 100 percent private LLC so we also do not need to share our patients’ information with any third-party,” Gonzalez said.

“We believe that everyone deserves exceptional healthcare without the burden of exorbitant costs. Our team is eager to serve the Miami community with the highest level of care and this service could not come at a more critical time as cost of living continues to rise and more immigrants continue to flock to South Florida,” Gonzalez concluded.
