East End Capital announces rebranding, renaming of Downtown office building

East End Capital recently released renderings which offer a first look at the expansive renovations for the iconic Downtown Miami office building formerly known as New World Tower.

In conjunction with the upgrades, the building is being rebranded “100 Biscayne.” The firm will invest more than $10 million to reposition the 30-story tower, which boasts spectacular views — from all floors — across Bayfront Park all the way to Miami Beach and beyond.

As part of the improvements, the streetscape façade will be completely replaced when the brand-new lobby is created just north of the existing one. Other renovations include new common corridors and bathrooms, a complete window glazing replacement, addition of multi-purpose amenity space that will incorporate a conference and fitness center, improved parking garage services, and the installation of best-in-class fiber connectivity.

East End also will implement a pre-built program which will feature high-design move-in-ready office suites with exposed ceilings, flexible work space and open kitchens. The office building is expected to be the optimal choice for technology, advertising, media and other creative tenants in Miami.

Zyscovich Architects, already a tenant at 100 Biscayne, is designing the new lobby and facade. MKDA is managing interior space planning for the common areas and newly created office spaces.

“The renderings demonstrate the vision we have for 100 Biscayne,” said David Peretz, founder and managing principal of East End Capital.

“The building already has the best views in all of Downtown. Once the renovations are complete, our tenants will have equally compelling and unique interiors that enhance their brand and everyday work experience. 100 Biscayne will be the place where Miami’s creative and commercial communities collide.”

The initial pre-built offices along with their hallways and bathrooms are nearing completion. Other renovations are expected to commence in late summer.

Leasing at 100 Biscayne is managed by Gordon Messinger at Cushman & Wakefield.
