The Youth Fair is back for the 71st year featuring a World of Fun theme.
Ranked as one of the largest fairs in Florida and one of the top 35
largest fairs and expositions throughout North America, The Youth Fair attracts nearly 600,000 guests of all ages every year and is a family experience packed with fun rides, games, mouth-watering food, live outdoor music, sensational shows, animals, as well as academic and agricultural student exhibits. The Youth Fair opened for 21 days on Mar. 16.
The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition Inc. (The Fair) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture, while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. They accomplish this by producing a world-class annual Youth Fair with quality family entertainment and providing facilities and resources for more than 70 other events throughout the year.
The organization partners with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department to bring fresh opportunities to children from pre-kindergarten to high school seniors. The result is year-round programs in academics including fine arts, agriculture, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, social sciences and language arts as well as summer camps and athletic competitions.
The Fair continues through Sun., Apr. 9, except Mar. 27-28 and Apr. 3-4. The Youth Fair is located at the Fairgrounds, 10901 SW 24 St. (Coral Way), Miami, FL 33165.
Hours are 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, except Friday, Apr. 7, opening at noon. Gates open at noon Saturday and Sunday. The regular 2023 Youth Fair admission price is $16 for ages 6 to 64 and Unlimited Rides are $35 Monday through Friday and $40 Saturday and Sunday. Kids 5 and under and seniors 65 and older enter free every day, all day. Admission is free all day for active duty and retired military personnel (with valid military ID) every Thursday. Parking is free every day.
The Youth Fair offers many amenities for families including stroller and wheelchair rental, lost and found, paved walkways, convenient sitting areas, lush landscaping, restroom and diaper changing facilities, a new sensory-friendly area and more. Premiere sponsors include Pepsi, South Florida Ford Dealers and Sedano’s Supermarkets.
