The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship recently announced that two-time Latin Grammy Award winner and Grammy-nominated Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and global performer Farruko will headline at the 2026 Miami E-Prix, taking place Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Miami International Autodrome at Hard Rock Stadium.
The event is set to transform the venue into one of the city’s must-attend cultural moments of 2026. Styled as a “Miami Energy Drop” the collaboration marks a shift in the traditional race experience. Farruko is the first confirmed act in a dynamic entertainment lineup that will feature multiple deejays creating a soundscape throughout the day. The Hard Rock Stadium will transform into an immersive experience where the action of Formula E meets the distinct energy of Miami.
“Miami has always been a special place for me because of the energy, the culture, the people, and I love how Formula E is bringing all of this together for the Miami E-Prix,” said Farruko, known for his genre-defying sound. “Headlining this event is an honor and I’m excited to connect with the global community of fans in a new space that reflects the city’s spirit while showcasing the future of motorsport.”
As the only U.S. stop on Formula E’s record-breaking 2025-26 season, the Miami E-Prix will bring elite motorsport and entertainment together, with fans experiencing racing, live programming, and the Fan Village throughout the day. This will be Formula E’s first Miami race at the Autodrome, elevating the fan experience with modern facilities, expanded viewing areas, improved access, and world-class hospitality.
The 2026 Miami E-Prix will use one of the Autodrome’s newly approved shorter configurations, delivering a fast, technical layout designed for intense racing, high-speed strategy, and close-quarters action uniquely suited to Formula E’s electric machinery.
The race will serve as Round 3 of Season 12 and promises an unforgettable day of all-electric action featuring the world’s fastest and most innovative electric race cars, alongside one of the most passionate fan bases in motorsport. Miami is a flagship moment on the calendar and a key opportunity to continue growing the championship’s profile in the market.
Attendees also will have access to Formula E’s incredible Fan Village experience offering a wide variety of entertainment, including live music, interactive gaming arenas, racing simulators, and family-friendly activities.
Spectators now have the chance to secure their spot for the 2026 Miami E-Prix. More information and tickets are available from Ticketmaster and www.fiaformulae.com.
Fans in the U.S. will be able to catch live race action exclusively on the Roku Channel on Jan. 31, with highlights shown on CBS Sports Network.
