Celebrate Memorial Week and support our troops. Get ready to indulge at the Coconut Grove Food & Wine Festival. Experience the area’s top restaurants while sipping fine wine and spirits on Saturday, May 25.
The festival will take place in the heart of Coconut Grove at the New Regatta Park, 2700 S. Bayshore Dr., where guests are invited to experience some of the area’s top restaurants in a casual relaxed setting.
The Coconut Grove Food and Wine Festival is an annual event held in the historical community of Coconut Grove. Festival goers will enjoy food samplings from local restaurants including: Ariete Restaurant, Flannigan’s, Monty’s In the Grove, Mayfair Kitchen, and many others. There also will be bites from local caterers and bakeries, samples of craft beer, culinary presentations, fine wine, and spirits. Throughout the day there will be a Harley Davidson exotic motorcycle showcase, live music, a kid’s zone, waiters’ race, and more.
Activities include the wacky funny Waiters Race. Watch at 6 p.m. front stage as some of Miami’s fastest waiters run through an obstacle course without spilling a drop. Cash prizes will be given to first, second and third place. Also, you are invited to bring your dog to participate in the Pet Contest, at 7 p.m., near PetSmart Booth. Trophies will be given for Mutt and Master Look-A-Like: Best Dog Trick and Best Costume, Best of Show.
Tickets start at $25 for general admission $75 for exclusive VIP, with a couple’s VIP package available for $125, Children 12 and under are free. There’s also a Grovite Deal, where $40 includes entrance to the festival and four drink tickets. All military and first responders have free admission. Show your badge or ID.
Suggested proceeds and donations benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
