Since 1946, MCCJ has awarded the coveted Silver Medallion to outstanding leaders who have exhibited extraordinary humanitarian efforts in the community that mirror MCCJ’s mission of creating an inclusive community.
This year’s “pop up” gala will celebrate MCCJ’s 80th Anniversary. The event, themed as “Building a More Inclusive Community,” will be found on Mar. 7, for one night only, high above the city on the 19th floor of the Marriott Marquis.

Alonso, Dr. Doured Daghistani and Joseph T. Natoli. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Arthur Hertz, and the Clergy Medallion will go to Eduardo Diaz.
WPLG Local 10’s Calvin Hughes and Glenna Milberg will host the event along with chairs Sheldon and Florence Anderson and honorary chairs Al and Earlene Dotson Sr. and Tony and Conchi Argiz. MCCJ’s board chair is Michelle Ramirez Patricios.
