The Florida Grand Opera will present Mozart’s Don Giovanni on Nov. 19, 21, 24 at the Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Blvd. In Miami. Ticket prices range from $15 to $225.
Don Giovanni is the story of the world’s greatest lover, Don Juan, a young, arrogant, and charismatic aristocrat, who will stop at nothing to fulfill his ravenous lust. But when a midnight seduction ends in murder, Don Giovanni soon finds himself pursued on all sides by those he has wronged in the past. This masterwork is a brilliant combination of an engrossing story of seduction and vengeance set to the lavishly orchestrated musical genius of Mozart.
Featuring Grammy Award–winner Elliot Madore in his anticipated return to FGO as Don Giovanni and Argentinian bass-baritone Federico De Michelis as his sidekick Leporello in his FGO debut, plus soprano Elizabeth de Trejo as Donna Anna in her FGO debut, soprano Elizabeth Caballero as Donna Elvira, and bass Kevin Langan as the Commendatore.
The opera is sung in Italian with English and Spanish projected titles.
