Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) energy expert Frank Guzman describes some of the energy efficiency features for a new refrigerator installed at Curley’s House of Style in Miami to executive director Laverne Spicer. This cost-saving initiative is part of a free nonprofit energy makeover provided by FPL on June 2. FPL energy experts also installed upgraded lighting and a new freezer valued at over $3,500. These upgrades are expected to save the nonprofit approximately $1,200 annually that can be reinvested into its mission to help provide vital resources to those who need it most.
