South Florida-based real estate development company CADE Capital Partners has announced the official ground breaking of MB Station, a mixed-use residential building located at 3170 Coral Way.
CADE Capital Partners purchased the 57,115-square-foot lot in 2014 and partnered with the City of Miami and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to build Shenandoah Fire Station No. 14, which will be located at the rear base of the property. The 17-story building will feature 190 rental units, plus 4,805 square feet of commercial retail space.
“We are thrilled to introduce MB Station to one of Miami’s most dynamic residential neighborhoods,” said John F. Marquez, CEO of CADE Capital Partners. “As we enter our collaborative venture with the City of Miami, we are honored to deliver the highly anticipated fire station to the Shenandoah community.”
Then Commissioner (now Mayor) Francis X. Suarez attended the groundbreaking ceremony, expressing support for MB Station and commending CADE Capital Partners on the project.
“Something of this magnitude does not come together without the spirit of cooperation. It is one of the few projects that I can say, without a doubt, I am 100 percent certain will be successful,” Suarez said.
MB Station boasts one of the most desirable locations in Miami-Dade County, centrally positioned within walking distance of Downtown Coral Gables and Miracle Mile, the city’s premier commercial mainstay corridor and central business district. MB Station is complete with ample amenities, offering an outdoor courtyard with a pool, community club room, fitness center, yoga room, ground-floor retail space, and private balconies.
The property broke ground in October, and is expected to reach completion by the fourth quarter of 2019. Currently, CADE Capital Partners has over 500,000 square feet developed and 536,000 square feet under construction.
