Following the recent delivery of CMC Group’s new ultra-luxury boutique condominium, Vita at Grove Isle, the firm is gearing up to open the Grove Isle Racquet & Yacht Club, a newly reimagined, members-only tennis destination located on the exclusive island of Grove Isle in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood.

Founding memberships for island residents are open for registration, with availability expanding to off-island members beginning mid-March ahead of the club’s anticipated spring grand opening.

Located at 6 Grove Isle Dr., the Grove Isle Racquet & Yacht Club builds upon a long-standing legacy as one of Miami’s most scenic tennis venues. Originally established in the early 1980s as the Grove Isle Tennis Center, the club has long been known for its tranquil setting, panoramic water views, and close-knit community of passionate players.

Today, the club enters a new chapter as a modern, membership-driven tennis club operated by Cliff Drysdale Tennis (CDT), one of the world’s leading tennis management companies.

“The integration of the Grove Isle Racquet & Yacht Club is a natural extension of our vision for Grove Isle as a private, resort-style retreat just minutes from the city,” said Ugo Colombo, founder of CMC Group. “This is not simply a collection of tennis courts, but a thoughtfully curated club that reflects the same level of quality, craftsmanship, and lifestyle that Vita at Grove Isle offers its residents.”

Interest in the Grove Isle Racquet & Yacht Club has been strong following the recent completion of Vita, driven by demand from Grove Isle residents. Beginning in mid-March, a limited number of memberships will be offered to off-island players, granting access to a premier tennis experience in one of Miami’s most exclusive waterfront settings.

Membership includes unlimited use of eight Har-Tru courts, preferred pricing on lessons and clinics, Pro Shop discounts, complimentary member events, experience benefits such as travel offers and rewards, and priority reservations for adult clinics and events. Monthly dues range from $200 for on-island residents and $250–$300 for off-island members. Initiation fees apply only to off-island members and are $1,000 for individuals and $1,500 for families.

Operated by Cliff Drysdale Tennis, which manages 65 premier tennis properties worldwide, the club will offer elevated programming for players of all ages and skill levels, including professional instruction, clinics, leagues, and a full calendar of complimentary member events designed to foster a vibrant and welcoming tennis community in one of Miami’s most coveted private islands.

“For decades, Grove Isle has been a special place for tennis, known for its peaceful atmosphere and unmatched water views,” said Carlos Gonzalez, director and club leader of Grove Isle Racquet & Yacht Club. “Our goal with this relaunch was to honor that legacy while introducing a new level of programming and service. There are very few places where you can step onto the court with the bay just feet away, and we’re excited to welcome members to this exceptional waterfront tennis club.”

The launch of the Grove Isle Racquet & Yacht Club further enhances the lifestyle offerings at Grove Isle, complementing Vita at Grove Isle’s collection of 65 ultra-luxury waterfront residences and its array of amenities. Designed as a boutique, private-island retreat, Vita offers expansive floor plans, European-imported finishes, and exclusive resident amenities including a bayfront pool, fitness center and spa, and access to the Grove Isle Racquet & Yacht Club. Together, these offerings create a seamless blend of luxury living and recreational experiences, reinforcing Grove Isle as one of Miami’s most coveted private island addresses.
